Hours Of Operation Year-round.
Rental Policy Use of the spaces in the Library is encouraged for public and private gatherings. A contract will be executed between the Library and the organization or individual responsible for the rental agreement (The Renter), containing all the appropriate provisions, which will be thoroughly reviewed prior to signing. By code, the maximum capacity of the Auditorium is 220 occupants. We suggest that events of more than 125 in the Auditorium be scheduled after regular Library hours, to ease potential parking conflicts. While the Auditorium is Pequot Library╩╝s main rental facility, the Library╩╝s additional spaces are also potentially available after Library operating hours.
Cancellation Policy A cancellation fee will be charged if the reservation is canceled within 4 weeks of the rental date. The fee will be 50% of deposit if canceled within 4 weeks of the room reservation. Cancellations 2 weeks prior will forfeit the deposit. If canceled on the day of the rental, the full fee will be collected.
